Stop Press PeopleCo - Local People for Local Business Former Collingwood great and CEO of the Holden Racing Team Craig Kelly officially opened the PeopleCo branch in Sydney Road Brunswick recently. PeopleCo's eye-catching bright green colours provided the theme for the night as they literally rolled out the "green carpet" for over 40 guests in a relaxed cocktail-style party. Denise McLean, PeopleCo Brunswick Business Manager, said small and medium-sized businesses are quite different to larger companies and they have distinct staffing requirements. "PeopleCo is about 'The Best People' for local business. As Craig Kelly said in his speech, quality people really do make all the difference in any organisation. Our vision is to be the best local provider of temporary, casual and permanent staff to small and medium companies in the Moreland area," she said. "The Brunswick branch provides a full range of skills, from secretarial and sales professionals to forklift drivers and process workers - and everything in between," Ms McLean said. "We have also had a lot of interest from candidates who are tired of long commutes each day and are very keen to work locally. Similarly, local businesses find this a huge plus in terms of staff reliability and so on," she added.
